A federal documents depository since 1970, Central Library continues to serve its community and the Fourth Congressional District. Depository items are integrated into the library's collection and available to all without charge. With few exceptions, depository items may be checked out as well. Search the library's online catalog to find documents in the library's collection. The Federal Government, aware of technology's potential to aid the effort to inform the general public, now has vast amounts of information published electronically. CD-ROMs, available in the library, and Internet Web pages combine to make government information readily accessible to everyone.
